Seen at the The Henry Ford Museum. In the late nineteenth-century, Will Currier and two workmen used a small building to create finished shoes. This Newton, New Hampshire shop was part of a larger, New England shoe manufacturing system. Henry Ford acquired the shoe shop in 1930 and sent his employees to inspect, measure and photograph the building before moving it to Greenfield Village.
