Weeki Wachee Springs State Park is a natural tourist attraction located in Weeki Wachee, Florida, where underwater performances by "mermaids," women wearing fish tails as well as other fanciful outfits, can be viewed in an aquarium-like setting in the spring of the Weeki Wachee River. A waterpark Buccaneer Bay, Discovery Pointe Wildlife Theater, riverboat rides, kayak, and paddleboard rental are some of the other activities offered at Weeki Wachee Springs. The spring was named "Weeki Wachee" by Seminole Indians, which means "Little Spring" or "Winding River". The attraction was created in 1947 by stunt swimmer and attraction promoter Newt Perry. The International Space Station (ISS) is a space station (habitable artificial satellite) in low Earth orbit. It circles the Earth in roughly 92 minutes and completes 15.5 orbits per day. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida. The center is north-northwest of Cape Canaveral on the Atlantic Ocean, midway between Miami and Jacksonville on Florida's Space Coast, due east of Orlando. It features exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours of the spaceport.
